fatal error

  1. Hi

I seem to be getting fatal errors all over Gravity Forms. I have tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating it but it made no difference. I don't want to delete the plugin and reinstall it as this will lose the forms I have created. Why would these fatal errors suddenly appear when nothing else has changed on my site??

Fatal error: Call to undefined function gform_tooltip() in /home/thebigsw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/form_list.php on line 174

Fatal error: Class 'GFSettings' not found in /home/thebigsw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php on line 1161

    Thanks, Rachael

You can delete and re-install without losing any data or forms. They are all stored in the database. Can you re-install Gravity Forms using FTP please?

  3. I can't install it using FTP as I am not the website developer. I am an at-home mum in New Zealand, trying to run a website. I do not know how to install things using FTP process. I originally installed the plugin using the upload process. Please advise.

Can you try to re-install using the WordPress upload process again then please. I prefer FTP because it keeps WordPress out of the way, reducing the chances that a file will be uploaded incorrectly.

And the process to FTP isn't much more difficult. It just requires about the same knowledge as logging into your e-mail and copy and pasting files on your computer. :) If re-installing via the WordPress upload doesn't work, I can FTP it for you with some information from you.

  5. I think I need your help!

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: gravityforms_1.6.4.5.zip

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /home/thebigsw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/

    Plugin install failed.

Please can you advise how to do it via FTP or what info you need from me to help this?

    Thankyou

    Rachael

I've e-mailed you back regarding your situation.

Actually, you aren't going to get the e-mail because your hosting account and thus your e-mail account is out of space. Here's what I sent:

I'm unable to upload the file via FTP because you are running over
your 200MB storage limit and so I'm getting errors related to you
    being out of disk quota.

    Disk Space Usage 216.34 / 200 MB

You will have to clear some space or get more space before anything
    else can happen.

  12. Hi, so sorry for the delay, I have been trying to sort out the disk space issue. We now are 166 out of 300 MB, so I have been able to upload the plugin myself.

Thankyou very much for your help
