Fatal error upon upgrade - plugin deactivation

I just upgraded Gravity Forms via the plugin upgrade function and I had an issue. I got a fatal error and the plugin was deactivated:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare gravity_form() (previously declared in /home/my_username/mydomain.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php:922) in /home/my_username/mydomain.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php on line 924

[Obviously I changed my user name and domain to post that error here]

Any ideas and/or fixes for this?

Just checked in my admin panel and it appears that the 'Forms' panel is still active, and I checked my site and all of my forms are there (didn't try to submit one though) but the plugin is listed in the 'Inactive' area of the plugins management. When I try to 'Activate' the GF plugin I get the above error.

Exact same thing here after upgrade. Auto update and manual both returned the same errors as described above.

If you have the Gravity Forms Directory & Addons plugin installed, deactivate it and then activate the Gravity forms plugin. Then re-activate Gravity Forms Directory & Addons plugin.

This got rid of the error described by the OP for me.
