Form not Clearing; No Notifications

  1. Having a number of issues:

1: My form does submit its data and I do get the Administrator notification email but when I click on the form submit button nothing happens. The page does not refresh, the form stays populated, no messages. Also, if I do not fill in a required field and submit nothing happens, no notification that the field is required.

2: I have notification setup for the submitter. That does not work at all. No email is sent to the person filling out the form.

Happening in Safari and Firefox. Have not tested with IE yet.

See at: pku.eachandeveryone.net at bottom of page. Am using an embed by short code in a text widget in the footer.

    Please help.

  2. I was unable to test your form because you aren't using Gravity Forms in that placement right now, it appears to be Contact Form 7.

The fact that you are embedding the form via a shortcode in your text widget is the likely problem. If the shortcode is used outside of the WordPress loop it can't automatically output scripts in your head and foot, and if you have AJAX turned on the form wouldn't submit without the scripts present.

Is there any reason why you are not using the Gravity Forms Widget instead of a text widget with the shortcode? The widget is designed to be used in sidebars and knows how to properly output it's scripts.
