Form with PayPal Add-On refuses to create posts

  1. For some reason my form at http://brookspenland.com/advertise/ is refusing to create draft posts after the form is submitted. At first I thought it was because the PayPal module was still in "Test" mode, but even in "Production" mode the form charges the account, but does not create the post. What am I missing?

Without the Paypal add-on in place is it able to make draft posts when a form is submitted?

  3. Yes, I disabled the PayPal Add-On and the form created a draft post.

  4. After reactivating the PayPal Add-On, the form stopped working again. It processes the payment fine, but it doesn't create the post. What's the hang up?

  5. Can you send an admin login for your WordPress site to chris@rocketgenius.com please. I would like to take a look at how this is configured.

    Thank you.

  6. I checked the last 5 entries for your Advertiser form. I see the one post created, the one you commented "Paypal disabled." The other 4 have a payment status of "Processing." Because you have configured PayPal to NOT create the post until payment is received, those posts where payment status is "Processing" will remain in unpublished.

Something is preventing the notification from PayPal to your site to let your Gravity Forms know the payment was received. Check your PayPal IPN status and see what it says there. Also see if you can resend those notifications. Be sure you have configured your IPN settings correctly at PayPal.

We have to troubleshoot this as an IPN problem, because they payment status is stuck at "Processing". Once the payments are recorded as complete, the posts will be published fine.

    Thank you.
