Gravity forms dashboard order

  1. Hi,

I have just purchased Gravityforms and it's great. I do have one question though.

Since i've activated the plugin it's positioned between 'Links' and 'Pages' on my Wordpress dashboard. I would like to change the menu position because obvisouly it shouldn't be there considering i am used to the current position of the dashboard items. Is there a way to move it down the menu?

    Thanks in advance,

    Stephan

  2. Gravity Forms relies on WordPress to set the menu order and ensure there are no conflicts with the menu position. There are plugins which will allow you to order your WordPress admin menu. Here is one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/

  3. Hey Chris,

    Thanks for your explanation.

I have't messed with any core files at all, so the form is positioned between links and pages by Default? That's odd though. Thanks for the link i will look into it right away!

  4. That is where WordPress puts us :-)

I agree that it does not seem intuitive, but after seeing enough sites, I expect it to be there now.

  5. Yes i understand

Perhaps i should just get used to it being there, not sure if i'm gonna change it anyway.

If anyone else should feel the urge to change the menu position, this might be helpful:

This can be closed now, i'm sorted out!
