Having an issue in form editor with not being able to edit drop down menu fields

  1. I noticed an issue today when trying to expand a drop down field so that I can edit the items listed in the drop down, the field wont expand. I checked the page for any js errors and I see an error "Can't find variable: Currency". The error only shows up in firebug after I click to expand the field. Is this a bug associated with the recent update that rolled out the other day?

Please let me know if you can help.

  2. Do you happen to have the No Conflict mode turned on in the Plugin Settings? If so, try turning that off. Can you also post a link to a form and are you having any issues with form display?

  3. Rob,

Turning off No Conflict mode did the trick for me. I never did have an issue with form display. Just couldn't edit drop down fields.

    Thanks for your help!

  4. Awesome, glad to help. Due to javascript changes made in Gravity Forms v1.6.4, one of the javascript files that should be output on the page was not being output when No Conflict Mode was enabled.

We will correct this in the next release so that this issue does not happen. The No Conflict Mode is still an experimental feature and we will be refining it over time. What it does is very tricky and it's difficult to make it work exactly the way we want it... but it is getting better. Hopefully eventually it will be able to eliminate any admin related conflicts.
