Input Mask Problem

  1. I have a custom input mask on a form field - "Size: 9?9 - Qty: 9?99" - for women's pant sizes; the way I interpret the instructions for the mask is that if I input "Size: 8 - Qty: 12" or "Size: 14 - Qty:8", the field value should be acceptable since the second/third digits that follow the ? are optional. However, the field isn't validating the input if there is only one digit in either spot--it reverts to a blank. It seems to be requiring a second digit (e.g. 08) for each. An example can be found here - "Women's" under the "Slacks" heading.

    Please advise.

  2. Can you paste the code you are using for the mask as pastebin.com or pastie.org? Thank you.

  3. Here is a link to the preview page code: http://pastie.org/private/3jrrslmifp6f2uzyy56e5g - if you need something else, please let me know.

Additionally here is a screen cap of the form set-up: http://i45.tinypic.com/2yo7c00.jpg

    Thanks

  4. After experimenting with this, it does not appear you can use two question marks in one line like this: the script gets confused. I would suggest separating the size and quantity into separate fields and then configure a mask for each one.

  5. Thanks for checking; that's what I was afraid of.
