Install Error

  1. I'm trying to install Gravity Forms on a new site and I got this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /hermes/web09c/b659/moo.ccsuncity/summonsradio.com-redirect/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php on line 59

I downloaded the NEWEST version of GF right here.

  2. This is a PHP version error. You need PHP version 5 or higher installed to run Gravity Forms. Some web hosts have settings in the control panel to set your PHP version, if yours doesn't, then you will need to contact your hosting company and ask that they upgrade you to PHP 5 or higher

This is also noted in the FAQ

And a quick search would turn up several responses as well
