International Address Field fails

  1. I'm using the address field, set to "International", default Country: Nederland (Hidden) and 2nd Address Line hidden. If I fill in valid data in the remaining fields, I get a warning the field is mandatory and not filled in correctly.

    Am I doing something wrong?

  2. http://countrywilma.nl/bestellen

Valid data (at least, it SHOULD be)

    Address: Kiefstraat 5
    Plaats: Koog aan de Zaan
    Provincie: Noord-Holland
Postcode: 1541 HJ (4 numbers, a space and 2 letters)

  3. ...but I think this goes without saying: using WordPress 2.9.2 and GravityForms 1.3.10

  4. Think I found it... If I show the country field, everything works fine. 2nd Address line hidden/shown doesn't seem to have any impact.

Is the Country Field mandatory if you select "International" for your address field lay-out?

  5. I just tried a test on my end with an Address set to those settings (International, default country Netherlands, country hidden, 2nd address line hidden, set as required field) and was able to submit the example address you provided.

I was also able to submit your form above using the example address you provided.

Are you still experiencing the issue? If so can you use the Contact Us form on this site and send us a WordPress admin login so we can take a look at the form? We aren't able to reproduce it on our end.

  6. With the Country Field shown, the issue is gone. If customer wants this field out, I might take you up on your offer to have a closer look. ;) For now it's fine. Thanks!

Have the same issue. When I hide country field, the address field never validates.

  8. If your Address field is required and you are hiding the Country drop down, you have to select a default country. It then saves the default country value even though the country drop down is not shown.

So while you are hiding the country drop down, you are actually still setting a value so it passes validation.
