Label Adjustments

  1. Hello,

How do I move the labels closer to the input box - as can be illustrated in this photo: http://ybex.com/d/hya99fd4tgjf5f17gvc2a0y3rsp2rda5hji58fnp.html ? I also need all the labels ( including address) to be above the input box not below like illustrated here: http://ybex.com/d/dw2nt61nvt73nl2bagr26jm9c4mdzl8io1sv89bl.html .

    Many thanks,
    -Patrick

  4. Patrick, if you notice in this screenshot you will see I pointed to the culprit in your theme's stylesheet. Deactivating that style moves the sublabels up. You might want to make that selector in the theme more specific, or if you don't need it just axe it altogether. If you need it, and need help writing a new Gravity Forms selector to place, let me know.

  5. Thanks for your help! Is it at all possible to display the address labels above the input box? If not, not a huge problem. Also the phone and email row seems a bit out of alignment.

  6. Ah ha! Another, similar selector, see this screenshot

There is no built-in way to change the sublabel positioning. People have attempted it with mixed results via jQuery here on the forum though. Here is one example: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/change-position-of-sub-labels-on-advanced-fields

  7. Thanks! It's the standard twenty twelve theme so I assumed the theme is fully compatible out of the box; I guess not. Where would I insert that jquery?
