Language files: filename?

    I'm working on a german translation but struggling with the files. I loaded my files into the folder /wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/languages

    What filename should the files have?
    PO Edit suggest: default.po / .mo
    I also tried de_DE.po /.mo

    But no translation.

    The file format must be like this:

    gravityforms-de_DE.mo
    gravityforms-de_DE.po

    WordPress plugin translation files must include the name of the plugin folder in the filename so it knows what it applies to.
