Link within a question

  1. This is a really dumb question but I am struggling with this. I am trying to set up a checkbox question, but within the question I need a link. I would like to have the text linked so it would be like this: Go Here but this is not working.

    What am I missing?

  2. You cannot use HTML in the field label, but you can use HTML in both the checkbox choice and the description. Where did you want to add your link? Can you post a link to your form and let us know which text you want linked?

  3. Thanks Chris, I put the link in the description, not ideal but it will do for now. The form is not live so I am not able to post the link for it as I am redoing my site.

In my search after posting this original question I found this: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/allow-html-in-field-label and was really confused on where to put this jquery. It says this: add a little jQuery to your page template my confusion is, how do I incorporate this into my form?

  4. You add the jQuery to one of your template files, the one that is used for the page that holds your form. The idea is to have the script appear in the page where your form appears, so the label is replaced with the alternate label with HTML.

  6. Hi. I am trying to add a link in the choice field. I have tried with both radio buttons and check boxes. However, neither are allowing the HTML. It looks fine of course until I click update the form and then I get the error message "There was an error trying to save your form."

I am using WP 3.3.2 and GF 1.6.4.5.4

here is what I am trying to enter into the choices field.
'I have read and agree to the terms of use.'

The form page is here > http://adventurescubatrips.com/main/host-registration/

jmichiels - I was able to add html to the text related to a checkbox without issue. Can you update your WordPress to the latest version and then e-mail me an admin login to your site at peralty@rocketgenius.com with a link to this forum thread, and I'll check it out for you.

Flying blind, I won't be able to help much. Can you take some screencaps of what you have and host them somewhere and provide me a link? Can you try using single quotes in your HTML and see if that's the issue?
