Missing translation strings

  1. Hi,

in 1.5 translation strings in the german version are missing and you did not provide the po file for me to complete.
Any way I can get a complete translation or po file where only some strings are missing?

    Br,
    Andreas

  2. The language translation files in the releases are community supplied and not necessarily 100% complete. We included them at the request of users, because when you update it overwrites the plugin files so it could overwrite the translation files. So the language specific translations were not created by us.

We only supply the master POT file which is in the languages folder, it can be used to create translations.

We are planning on introducing official translations later this year as Add-Ons so they are independent of the core codebase and can be updated independently of the core plugin. We will be working with a professional translation service to create them.

  4. great with the included translations files. I found one missing string, useing multi sites form this shows up "step 1 of 5" but it is not translated into German and i cannot find the string in the translation master POT file?

  5. The "Step 1 of 5" is actually multiple strings. The POT file should contain "Step" and "of" within the POT file.

I updated my German translation yesterday for 1.5.1 - and Carl already added it to the current download package (maybe you should re-download).
You can always find my current file at: http://bit.ly/gravityforms-de

I am open for all corrections, suggestions and tips! Thank you all guys! :-)
