    Hi Everyone,

Hopefully someone can help with this. I recently moved my website with from a shared server to a cloud server and now I am unable to edit any Wordpress page that contains a gravity form. Has anyone had experience with this? Thank you.

  2. Just to clarify, you are unable to edit your forms using the Gravity Forms form editor or are you unable to edit your WordPress pages?

    Thanks Carl,

I am able to edit the Gravity Forms perfectly through Gravity Forms Dashboard. I am *unable*, however, to edit any Wordpress page that contains the shortcode for any given Gravity Form that I had created. To walk you through the process: I click the menu link on WP admin for Pages. Click a link for a page that has a gravity form shortcode. An edit page renders with the right sidebar options but the main edit options (those normally in the body of any edit page) like the Editor Box do not appear. Its strange, because I see the forms on the front end of the websites and they all route and function fine :-). Perplexing.

I've already tried uninstalling gravity and reinstalling it. I've also updated to the latest version of Gravity Forms.

Thanks and let me know if you need further clarification.

    Hi Carl,

I fixed the issue on my own. Turns out that after the server transfer gravity forms began conflicting with the SFC (Simple Facebook Connect) plugin. I removed the plugin and voila :-) I can now edit pages with Gravity Form Shortcodes again.

    Thanks.

Only thing is that now I am having trouble editing existing forms. The description for each form does not show up in the form editor. And I can click on the Edit or Delete links on any field edit line, e.g. Name, Title, etc.

    Any help here? Thanks.

  6. Depending on how you migrated your database you could have corrupted the Gravity Forms data. Some tools such as PHPMyAdmin do not export and import serialized data properly.

What you need to do is download and install the Gravity Forms Meta Recovery Add-On which is available here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/downloads/

Activate Gravity Forms and the Meta Recovery Add-On It will add a "Meta Recovery" menu item under the "Forms" navigation. Navigate to it and then use the Meta Recovery tool to repair the form meta data for each form. This usually works, but it's not guaranteed. It depends on how corrupt the serialized data is.
