Multi-page form, summary before submit

  1. Hi,

I've got a long a complicated form for clients to fill in, so i've split it across three pages. What I want to know is, can I have the last page, or the page AFTER the last page, show a complete summary of all the previous pages of entry...kind of like a "This is what you'll be submitting to us" page, and have the actual submit button at the bottom of the summary page?

So they hit page 1, fill in the form, click Next, fill out page 2, click Next, fill out page 3, click Next (not submit at this point), see a summary page of all the info they've entered in previous pages, click Submit.

My worry is that people will forget what they put on page one by the time they get to page three, and will need to backtrack a couple of pages to go check.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance

To start you on the right path, have a look at the following:

It might be more complex than that because you want to use a multi-page form, but try it out, and let me know if you run into any stumbling blocks.

  3. David that looks like just the ticket! Looking forward to getting stuck into the walkthrough and seeing what I can do with it.

Much appreciated, thank you! Plus this looks like a great wee site to bookmark for some tricks of the trade :)

    Cheers!
