    How do I put multiple fields in a row? Does it require special coding?

    Field positioning is done with CSS.

    You can use the Gravity Forms CSS Ready Classes which are pre-built CSS classes you can use to do more advanced form layouts without code. Documentation for CSS Ready Classes can be found here:
