Multiple Instances of Same Form on Page

Ok, I thought I had this pegged but then I actually tried to use the page I've been building. :/ I'm working on having a short form at the bottom of every post, and am populating a hidden field with the post title to know which form was submitted.

I just now found the forum posts saying that this isn't possible. We could deal with duplicate entries, but on submission every field changes to the success message and AJAX validation is out of the question.

Any updates on this? Otherwise I guess I'll just have to change things so you're taken to another page to fill out the form.

    Thanks!

  2. Do you need to show the form in the post index/archive view for some reason? If not, exclude the form from the archive page, load the form on just the post detail page and you shouldn't have any problem with duplications or anything else.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I want to be able to show it inside the loop on an index page. The page is a listing of books (which are each posts) with a little "borrow this item" form below them that's shown/hidden with Javascript.

    Maybe a modal window?
