MySQL 5 ??

  1. Hello guys, i just buy the thing and install it and give me this
    ==============================
    PHP-Version 5.2.14 ok
    MySQL-Version 4.1.25 X Gravity Forms erfordert MySQL 5 oder höher.
    WordPress Version 3.1 ok
    Gravity Forms-Version 1.5 ok
    ==============================

    After transladate the german result, this mean i cant use the gravity thing because i need to use MySQL 5??

    Cant believe this because i read the whole features and all info from gravity website and i cant remember nothing about the MySQL 5 version

    So im confuse now

    Gravity Forms may work okay with a previous version of MySQL but it's not something we support. MySQL 5 was released in December of 2003 and there's no reason your web host shouldn't have upgraded to that. You may need to speak with your hosting company to inquire about upgrading the MySQL 5 for your site.

  3. Thank you for you reply Kevin, i just sumit that question abut upgrade to my hosting service, im sure they will give me a answer shortly.

    Im testing right know the gravity thing and looks great!!

    And i believe it work!!

  4. @Cranko Be aware that starting with v3.2, WordPress is also going to require MySQL 5. So your host will have to upgrade then, or risk losing all of their WordPress customers.
