not getting notification to BCC address or addresses

  1. In a form of mine I have this strange issue I cannot fix.

I have several forms, they all work ok except this one.

The only difference with this one is that here I enable Routing under Send To Mail.

But the problem is related to the sending to BCC addresses, so I guess routing should have nothing to do with that.

Anyway, I do not receive new entry notifications at my address after inserting it into the BCC field. I double checked the spam folder (my address is at gmail ~ google apps), made some tries filling the form myself, I receive the mail for the user but I do not receive the mail as administrator or BCC.

I tried inserting different addresses of mine, such as one at me.com, but nothing arrived.

I tried installing the WP Mail SMTP plugin. It works ok, for the test goes ok and every other mail get delivered, but nothing into the BCC.

Maybe the BCC is not supposed to work when routing is enabled or there is a bug about that? How else could I receive as administrator notifications of entries routed to my coworkers?

    Thank you.

  2. Some web hosts disable BCC. When you don't use routing does the BCC option work?

  3. Later on I understood it was a logical mistake of mine. I did not set a routing rule for myself, I thought every submission was going to be sent via bcc to me all the same, but then I understood I had to define a routing rule, for the bcc works only for messages actually sent under routing rules and where missing nothing is sent.

If I may, I would suggest U to add an option to let some user receive every submission even when routing rules are defined, in my firm I want to route some submissions but I want to see very submission myself too, and some of them are for me and no one else. Then maybe you could make it somehow clearer into the online help, just in case there is someone else jerk like me :-)

    Thanks.

  4. Good idea, a catch all if no rules match is something we can look at adding in the future. We have plans for more advanced notification functionality and this is one of the things we will be adding.
