Notification to Users ends up in SPAM folder

  1. Hi,
I've set up a survey with a notification sent to users once the survey's completed. I tested out the survey as a user myself, and my Gmail sent the user notification to Spam (even though I got my scheduled notification to admin just fine in the Inbox).

Is there any way to prevent this?

    Thanks,
    Aarti

Have a read through this. It might be as simple as setting up a proper SPF record on your server for sending e-mail. It might be as complex as your server being considered a spam server. I'm not certain. http://yoast.com/email-reliability/

  3. That wasn't helpful at all. You're sending a multi-paged article about stuff I've never even heard of before. I'm not that technologically savvy. Can someone else give it a go?

The issue you are facing is super complicated, and not specifically related to Gravity Forms. You will want to talk it over with your web host, who should be able to help you through it. They might recommend a third party e-mail server that is white listed (so that things don't get marked as spam), they might be able to help you with the SPF record if needed. They will be far more versed in what needs to be done to their server than even any of us will be.
