One form works, other form doesn't

  1. I have two forms up:
    http://doxsystems.com/contact
    and
    http://doxsystems.com/buy-2

Up until now, I've been working exclusively in Chrome on OSX Lion. The first form (contact) works fine. The second form (buy-2) doesn't work at all. I click submit, it thinks for a few seconds, then the page just refreshes. Nothing shows up in email or in Entries. No notification to the user is sent. And it gets better: I switched to Safari, and after the first time I tested the form (which again failed) and the page refreshed, the Submit button changed to "Add to Bag"(!), and when I clicked it, a shopping bag icon opened on the lower right corner of the browser that, when clicked, shows the (non-existent) product in a virtual shopping bag. WTF?

  2. Looks to be a conflict with whatever script you're using for the "add to bag" functionality. Does the second form work properly in your form preview page?

  3. Bill, it looks like you have the form inside of a product of some kind that is nestled inside a form tag.

So I believe the Add to Bag button is there because it thinks this is a product? I'm not sure what more to say here without seeing the setup of this. Is there a reason this form is created on a page like this? On the Contact Us page the form is just on a page, and is not wrapped in a form element (outside of gravity forms):

  4. It sends notifications properly in the preview page, but doesn't present the confirmation notice. Note also that we don't have 'add to bag' functionality, as the product isn't for sale yet. When the user goes to this page and fills out this form, it's because they want to be notified when it is for sale.

  5. I don't know where those extra tags came from, so I'll just rebuild the page. Sorry for the headache.
