Parse Error in form_detail.php after migration

Hi, i migrated a wordpress site from test-server to live-server. Gravity-Forms is still running and fetches data. But i can no longer add or edit forms. When i click on a single form to edit it i get the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/form_detail.php on line 1972

Deactivate/Activate GravityForms does not solve the problem. I'm using GravityForms 1.5 and WP 3.1. PHP version is 5 (via .htaccess). Thank you!

  2. It sounds like something got corrupt when you migrated, most likely with your form meta data which can happen depending on how you migrated because some tools like PHPMyAdmin don't handle serialized data properly in export/imports.

Did you have forms you needed to restore or can you recreate the forms? That will determine the next steps.

I migrated using a sql dump generated by PHPMyAdmin. I have a running copy on my test-server. I can export the forms via the plugin's export functionality. But I cannot edit or add forms. I'm not sure what to do. Should I edit something in the form meta data table?

  4. It sounds like something got corrupt. I would suggest re-installing Gravity Forms on the live site, and then import the forms from the development site using the export/import forms feature.

To completely uninstall Gravity Forms, go to the Settings page under Forms (Forms > Settings) and select the Uninstall option on the bottom of that page. This will remove the database tables, etc.

Then go to your plugins page again and re-activate Gravity Forms. Then import your forms.
