Paypal not recieving ipn notifications

  1. Hi,

    http://bizmag.feedmydemo.co.za/test-sub/

We have a subscription form on this page, the paypal addon has been setup and I've tried both a sandbox account and live paypal account but nothing is received in paypal. The ipn history is always empty.

But using the paypal ipn tester it says successful so I assume the listener is working correctly.

    I can send login details.
    thanks,
    feedmymedia

  2. If the IPN history is always empty then PayPal isn't sending IPN. Gravity Forms doesn't send the IPN, PayPal does. So if the IPN history is empty... then either you didn't properly setup IPN in your PayPal account or your PayPal account simply isn't sending the IPN requests.

You need to make sure you have populate the IPN url in your PayPal account settings. The IPN history should never be empty if PayPal is sending the IPN requests. You may need to discuss this with PayPal.

  3. Hi Carl,

After a lengthy forum conversation about IPN someone pointed out that the account transaction history is empty as well and hence there are no IPNs being sent.

How would I test that gforms is successfully sending the request after the form is completed? Would anything with the server config effect this?

EDIT: On the form entry it's stuck on "Payment Status: Processing"
