Paypal Pro Recurring

    Hi Guys,

Playing with the paypal pro addon looks awesome so far. I've got it setup on a Test Sandbox account works perfectly as a one time Products payment and goes through fine and all on site excellent plugin!

When I set it to Subscriptions I added a subscription field as one month or one time payment. The sole purpose of the site is going to pay just one monthly fee. Fille it out as before but it doesnt seem to want to process the payment I just keep receiving :-

'There was an error processing your request. Your credit card was not charged. Please try again.'

All the test account is setup with Website Payments Pro so think Ive done everything om the Paypal side but maybe missing something, has anyone else had a similar problem with recurring payments?

It maybe dead obvious and Im missing something so simple. I have just thrown a quick page together to see if I can get recurring payments to work feel free to take a look :-

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

  4. We have debugged the issue via the site access that you provided Rob and the problem is being caused by the 3rd party Gravity Forms Stripe Add-On.

The Stripe Add-On is using javascript to manipulate the credit card fields and preventing the data in those fields from being posted which results in no credit card data being passed to PayPal Pro... which causes PayPal Pro to return an error because there is no card information.

It appears the developer of the Stripe Add-On is not checking to make sure that a Stripe Add-On Feed exists for that form before outputting code to manipulate the form. It's happening regardless and that is what is causing the PayPal Pro problem with your form.

You will need to deactivate the Stripe Add-On in order to use the PayPal Pro Add-On.

I have reached out to Naomi, the developer of the Stripe Add-On, and we will fill her in on what is going on and work with her to get the Stripe Add-On updated so that it works correctly. She's very responsive and i'm sure she will do what needs to be done to correct her plugin.
