Posting files that aren't images directly to the Media Library

Is there a way to have files uploaded by a user directly added to the Media Library upon submission of a form? I've seen a lot of posts related to images, but I'm working with .pdf & .ppt files.

  2. Currently the only field that adds data to your Media Library is the Post Image field which is is used when using Gravity Forms to create a Post. It can't be used by itself and has to be used in conjunction with the Post Body and Post Title fields to create a post that the Image is then assigned to in the Media Library.

We do plan on adding additional options to the File Upload field in a future release to add non-image files to your Media Library.

Thanks for the info Carl. I'll be looking forward to that addition to Gravity Forms.
