Posting to post formats

  1. Hello support,

I've inherited a theme that uses Gravity for user submitted articles. We would like to move over to post formats and I was wondering if or how to add post format meta-data to the post?

Unfortunately the site is private but I can arrange a view if necessary.

    Thanks,
    feedmymedia

  2. Hi Feedmymedia,

Here is a snippet that will allow you to modify the post format of a post created by a Gravity Form:

    Hello David,

This looks like what I'm looking for, but where do I add this code?

    Thank you,

    Mike

    Thanks, David.

I actually came across another response and ended up using the 3rd party plugin suggested to add the 'Save as Custom Post Type'.

I can't say how great the GF product looks so far. Only had it a couple of hours and the possibilities are endless. Good stuff!

Now I just have an issue with a missing sidebar in my custom post type, but I know what is a Wordpress issue and not for you guys.

Thanks for the help and I will be tweaking this install more and more once I get the basics setup and I'm sure this forum will save me months of trial and error.
