Prevent Form From Making Posts

  1. After playing with Gravity Forms for a week or so, I noticed that every time the form is is used to submit information, it also generates a Draft post in the default Post Category.

I didn't even know Gravity Forms could/would do that!

Is there a way to prevent a post from being generated; on a form by form basis?

    Thanks

  2. The only way Gravity Forms would be created a post is if you added "Post Fields" to your form. Post Fields are fields that appear under the "Post Fields" area of the field toolbox in the form builder.

It sounds like you have one or more Post Fields added to your form, which is why it is creating posts. These fields should only be added to your form if you want to create a post using your form.

Same issue here, we have a form which is creating drafts for every submission. The form does not have any of the Post Fields added to it at the moment. It may have at some point but it doesn't now.

  4. You may want to double check. I post field may have been added and used and a first glance it may not appear like a post field since they look like regular fields. If you want us to look at it we will need an admin login sent to us via our Contact Us form.
