i can save the username pw and email and such, but i added a custom field to save the billing and shipping address and its not saving.
here what my setting look like
should i have it like %shippingaddress% or something? so when they go to the account page or even under my user page it doesn't show there billing or shipping. unless they edit it later.

The name you use for the custom meta doesn't need any special formatting, just simple text. For example, if I want to track someone's favorite color, I can simply call it "color" and point it to the field on my form that has the information.
When you look at the entries for the form, do you see the address information on the entry when you View it?
I do not know what you mean by the "account page", but custom meta fields are not automatically added to WordPress user profile pages.
