Tab Order on Multicolumn form and E-Mail Formatting

  1. If someone can help me and visit the following website:

    http://69.164.207.141/tcmh/career-opportunities/job-application/

I have a multiple page gravity form where the are instance of multiple columns, etc. I am having trouble getting the tab order to work correctly and don't seem to see any answers in the forums regarding how to fix this. I want the tabs to go down the first column, first section, then second column first section, first column, second section, second column, second section, and so on. You can see good examples of this on the Education page of the form. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, when I get the notification e-mail, because I have parts of the form in column format, the answers are not appearing in the proper order in the notification e-mail. If anyone can help me by filling out this form, then I'll send you a copy of the e-mail so that you can see what I mean by the form not showing up properly, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Rusty

  2. Rusty, this is because these are "faux columns". The order you have to place these fields in the formbuilder in order to achieve the columns is the order the notification will get sent out and also the order that the tabbing will take place. I think a better option for you would be to try to use HTML fields to wrap around the fields you want on the left in a div that is floated and then another set of HTML fields on the right that is floated. This will require working knowledge of CSS to achieve. Here is a link that should help you out and get you started on the concept:

  3. Ok. I worked on the form a little bit this morning and I took the article that you gave, and was able to get the form working a bit better as far as the tab order, but now I have another question. On each page that I used the custom HTML blocks with CSS everything after I close the last div is still taking on the styling of the custom div's that I created. Is there any way to close the custom styling, so that the gravity form ready classes will applied again? A good example of this is on page 2 and 4 of the form. You can see there how the styling on the bottom sections after I have closed the </div> columns are not using the gravity form ready classes anymore, even though they are put in. Thanks for any help.
