Theme Breaks GravityForms

  1. The Wordpress theme that I am using on my website, which is under development, mangles GravityForms. I want to make it clear that GravityForms is NOT at fault. The way I found that works for me to avoid the Wordpress theme issue is to create a Wordpress template that does NOT use my theme. To see it in action go to http://gennaro.us/kingstonmines/employment-application

In summary, I have the power of GravityForms at my disposal without having to deal with a theme that distorts the form layout. Hopefully my comments will help others who are experiencing similar issues.

  2. If you can post a link to a page that uses your theme and does display a form we'd be glad to take a look at it and see what in your theme is causing it not to display properly.

  3. In response to your comments, using IE8 (32bit) try it here http://gennaro.us/kingstonmines/gftest

It does look different in Google Chrome but not correct.

Now for the most interesting part, click Submit while viewing in IE8 (leave the fields as they are in that all fields will therefore be in error) and the response also back looks bad.

Lastly, if you want to see GF 1.5RC4 using my just-for-fun family website's theme, go to http://gennaro.us/godfatherblog/employment/ where I did add custom code to website's style.css.

You don't have to waste time on my issue as I am happy with how I setup my GravityForm at http://gennaro.us/kingstonmines/employment-application/ as mentioned in my previous post comments.
