Title Tags Not Showing Up - Becoming Alt instead

    Hi there,

I have a form that was working perfectly till the last update. The form allows for 3 images to be uploaded and the user enters the Title of the image. This Title was showing up as the title but now becomes the alt data instead. It's not a huge problem as its easy enough to copy paste the data to the title but its an extra step that was not required before.

Any thoughts? Here is the form - http://mysundaydrivers.com/submit/

    Thanks and cheers,
    Gil

  2. Can you export your form to the form export XML file and post a link to it so we can test locally with your form?

  4. I'm unable to replicate this. I imported your form and then submitted it with images being uploaded. When I inspect those images in the Media Library the Title field is populated as expected. The Alt Text isn't populated.

    Thanks for trying Carl.

Hmmm ... things that make you go hmmm. Maybe it might have to do with the Genesis framework.

If I figure it out I will post it here.

    Cheers,

    Gil

  6. If you can narrow it down that would be helpful. Try testing with plugins deactivated as well as with another theme activated and let me know how it goes. I was unable to replicate it locally, even with your form XML.

    Hi Carl,

I did a simple test by creating a form that has post title, post image and post body.
I tested the form and it captures the title and alt tags. So, I doubt its a plugin issue or theme issue.

Things that make you go hmmm!

  8. @Gil Just to clarify as it's not clear to me, your 2nd test form populated the Title tag as expected? But your 1st form is not?

    Hi Carl,

The form I sent you does not populate the title tag, only the alt tag. The test form I created (as above) does populate the title tag AND the alt tag.

    Cheers,
    Gil
