Total field not working

  1. I purchased the developer licence yesterday (14 May 2011) and the total field is not working.

I tried a basic test form:

    1. Add Product field
    2. Add Quantity field
    3. Add Shipping field
    4. Add Total field

The total field remains at 0.00 on the form but the total is passed to Paypal and I have this set up correctly.

I had WP 3.1.1 installed and thought this might be the problem so I up
I then tried graded to 3.1.2 and still nothing. I do have the latest Gravityforms updates as this was only purchased yesterday.

    Have I missed something?

Please can you advise. It's urgent.

    Thanks

  2. Update: It's actually not working in the Preview mode for either Google Chrome (11.0.696.68) or Internet Explorer (8.0.7600).

I decided to embedding the form onto the WP Page using Chrome following these instructions: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Embedding_A_Form
... and this didn't work - it gets stuck at the modal dialogue popup

Then tried using Internet Explorer and finally this worked.

Rather frustrating... hope these can be fixed.

  4. @staccount The issue of the Insert Form modal not inserting the form into your post/page is a browser cache issue. Your browser hasn't loaded the necessary Javascript to allow the form to be inserted because it loaded the Javascript on that page from cache. Completely clear your browser cache, restart your browser and then the Insert Form wizard should work properly.

As for the Total field issue, this is going to be a Javascript issue caused by a theme or plugin conflict most likely. It's also possible it's file permission related (the scripts aren't being loaded due to file permissions), but most likely a theme or plugin related conflict causing an issue with the Javascript.

The first thing you need to do is test for theme and plugin conflicts by following these instructions:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to prevent theme and plugin conflicts due to how WordPress executes.

If you test for theme and plugin conflicts and the issue still occurs, send us a WordPress admin login via our Contact Us form and reference this forum post and we can take a look and see what is going on.
