I've set up an ordering form with product fields obviously and have a Total field to display the running total of the order. Is it possible to output the Total field simultaneously to the sidebar? I'm not sure this is possible due the sidebar being outside of the form itself.

This isn't possible as a feature out of the box. The sidebar is separate from the form itself. It might be possible to implement your own customization via jQuery that would make this possible, but i'm not sure what the code would be to do this off the top of my head.

MemberPardon me for opening up an old thread, but I found this on a search and it's exactly what I'd like to do. My form is very long (vertical), so I'd like to anchor the total and submit button at the top of the sidebar so it doesn't get buried. Anyway, has anything changed since OP's question? I just want to make sure this feature hasn't been added in the last 11 months...;-)

Nothing has changed with regards to controlling the placement of the total and submit. You could, however, using CSS potentially position these items manually through fixed positioning.
