The latest reCAPTCHA library uses the google.com servers rather than the recaptcha.net servers. It looks like the security certificate for api-secure.recaptcha.net has expired, so I ran into some problems this morning. Switching to the latest library (which makes no other changes than switching to the new servers) fixed everything. Please update the library included with Gravity Forms.

We have already updated it internally and the update will be in the next release which will be coming out very soon.

Can you tell me how to update the libraries for recaptcha when used with gravity forms? We don't want to wait until gravity forms does it automatically because recaptcha is broken on all our sites.
When will the next release be out?

We already released an update to Gravity Forms that updated the reCAPTCHA library. It is part of the 1.5.2 release which is available on the Downloads page.
