Upgrade error on v1.6.4.5.4

  1. I've just upgrade from 1.5.3 to v1.6.4.5.4, and found that the forms no longer display. I'm trying conditional logic with them.

I've use the Meta tool on my form, removed and re-imported the form and replace it on the page, to no avail.

    Having removed v1.6.4.5.4 and re-installing v1.5.3 the form re-appears.

  2. I'm having similar problems too. I would love to just use 1.6.1 but that version does not show "total" amount on confirmation page so unfortunately I had to update. Now most of my forms are broken....

Now i have to wait overnight (like you)....

  3. An update to my post:

    * I've tested the latest version for any conflicts with my theme or plugins (by deactivating all plug-ins and activating default Twenty Ten theme). I did this whilst keeping the conditional logic in place on my form, but form didn't appear.

    * I reactivated my theme and plugins, and removed all conditional logic on my form which resulted in the form appearing!

I think it must be a conditional logic issue for me. At this point I've just tested the upgrade on a test platform, all my live site forms are safe at the moment using ver 1.5.3.

  4. Another update: I did a fresh install of 1.6.4.4 on another site, and successfully created a new form using conditional logic.

  5. Where did you get 1.6.4.4? I missed that whole release and don't see a copy for download anywhere on the site. I'm hoping that using something after 1.6.1 and before current release will allow my forms to work again.

Most likely the issue that you are having is a conflict, and by trying to avoid the issue, you are potentially leaving yourself behind in the new features we are adding. If you would all create your own threads about your form issues, we could work on solving them. If the issue is on our side, we could patch Gravity Forms to fix it. If the issue is because of a theme or plugin conflict, we might be able to help you solve them, or be able to submit details to the theme or plugin author.
