Uploaded Images not showing up in Buddypress Activity Stream

    I've created a form using the Post Field options. I'm using the File Upload post option but when files are uploaded through the form they do not show in the BP Activity Stream, only the title does. Is it possible to have a thumbnail of the image show as well?

    Hi, Danielle,

    I'm sure it is possible with some custom code; however, I do not think it will be possible out of the box. Does the BP Activity Stream show post thumbnails for post featured images? If so, you might consider using the Post Image field which has an option to set the featured image of the created post.

    Hi, 826danielle,

    Are you using the "Image" field in the Post Fields, or the "File Upload" field under Advanced Fields"? The Image field in the post section is what you need to use to associate images with the post. You can also create a Post Content Template on the Post Body field where you can insert merge tags for the images and control the size. See the screenshot here: http://grab.by/bWfc.
