use variable in hidden field came from drop down

    Hi,
    how can i use the value came from a drop down (dinamically) into an hidden field?
    I use the inser variable in the advance tab, but i don't know how write inside the bracet..
    eg.

    Name of drop down -> Federal

    Insert varible -> {Federal:N° id}

    This don't work...

    I'll explain, i have a form with a drop down field and a hidden field.
    how can modify dinamically the value of the hidden field depending on the choice of drop down?

    You would modify the hidden field value after the form has been submitted using:
