Im using wordpress 3.2 multisite and the latest gravity forms and User the user registration plugin. I want users to sign up as subscribers so that is what I set in the User registration form settings. But they default to administrator. So I'm forced to change them to subscriber manually. Any Ideas on what could be causing this odd behaviour?

User Registration assigning to incorrect role

Do you have the User Registration Add-On settings configured to create a new site in Multi-Site? That is the only time the user is assigned the Administrator role by default. If your settings have the option to create a site in multi-site turned on, the user is automatically added as an Administrator for the new site that is created. For the parent site it uses the Role drop down. In Multi-Site users have multiple roles, depending on the site.
