v.1.5.1 not working

  1. I have been using Gravity Forms for close to a year now and love it.

    Today I upgraded to v.1.5.1

I tested my contact form after the upgrade and it doesn't work.

    Anyone else?

  2. We don't have any widespread reports of issues. If you post a link to your form that isn't working we can take a look and see what is going on. It probably uses conditional logic and something is preventing the javascript from executing. But if you post a link to the form we can take a look.

  3. Hi Carl

My contact form is here - http://thesocialmediaguide.com/contact/

After sending a message via the form a confirmation message appears saying 'Thank you for contacting me, I will be in touch soon'.

This message doesn't display after submitting and the message doesn't get delivered.

    Regards
    Matt

  4. It's because your form isn't submitted. If you can send us a WordPress admin login for this site via our Contact Us form we can take a look and see what is going on.

I updated to 1.5.1 auto upgrade and instead of the forms showing on the pages where once they showed, all that's there is a "Price: $"

    Advise please.

  7. @invclubs This is an entirely different issue than the one the user above is experiencing, so in the future please start a new forum post. We would be glad to look into your issue, send us a WordPress admin login via our Contact Us form and we can take a look.

  9. @matthewtommas I'm just resent my response and am posting it below.

The form is not working because your server is returning a 403 Forbidden error. Your server is rejecting the POST request. This could be a file permissions issue thing, or a web server issue.

See this screenshot, notice the red line in the debugger in FireFox and the error message:

    http://grab.by/9RMc

I would suggest checking file permissions on the wp-content/plugins/gravityforms folder and all of it's files and subfiles and try setting them to CHMOD 755. If that doesn't work you will have to contact your host and ask them what would be preventing that form from posting as the server is returning a 403 error. You can show them that screenshot. You can see the error happen when browsing using Firebug and debugging the page.
