Want to force name-n-email to allow choice among numerous zip file downloads

  1. Hello, I am trying to forge an office form download page. I want to force name and e-mail entry to allow access to dropdown (or other) menu of various forms bundles to be downloaded. I want to offer numeous bundled pdf's and also give a choice to be directed to a page where they may individually download the forms (for computer neophytes who are uncertain about handling zip). I also want a confirmation sent to me each time files are downloaded, so I may follow-up.

Presently, I am unsure how to force name and e-mail as conditions to allow dropdown functionality. Also, Unsure how to handle a choice in the dropdown which directs to another page/URL.

Thanks for your thoughts. All responses welcome.

  2. It isn't 100% clear what you are asking but I think you are asking if you can make conditional logic dependent upon entering a name and email address into a name and email field before displaying additional fields.

Currently this isn't a built in feature. Conditional Logic is only triggered by selection fields, not input fields. So only drop down, radio buttons and checkbox fields currently trigger conditional logic.

What you could do to get around this is build a multi-page form and place the Name and Email fields on the first page and make them required. Then place your additional fields on the 2nd page. The user won't be able to advance to the 2nd page unless he fills in his Name and Email. So this would have a similar effect to Conditional Logic by only allowing them to advance after they enter their Name and Email.
