When activating, Admin pages go blank

  1. Hi,

I installed Wordpress (lattest version) on my computer so I can build the site before putting it online.
I add the Gravity form plugin, and when I activate it .... admin pages go blank ... impossible to access any area. I have to delete the gravity form folder and files to access admin. The site is fine.

In the setup, Wordpress is freshly installed and there is no plugin activated. For the theme, I tried with Twenty Ten and Twenty eleven with the same result.

So no conflict possible with a plugin or a theme.

Is this because I run this setup on MAMP ????

    Thanks for the answer.

It sounds like a PHP memory limit issue. you could try and increase the memory limit in MAMP's php.ini file and see if that makes any difference.

  3. Hi, my memory limit is 32M in MAMP. What would be a good memory-limit then?

Try 64M and see if that makes any difference.

No problem, glad you got it sorted, especially since that was my only idea.
